I create ecologically conscious vessels and tableware from my studio in Hampshire, England. Inspired by an interest in conservation and ornithology, my work reflects the patterns and textures found in nature, from coastlines in Scotland to cliff edges in the Faroes.
I began my ceramic practise in 2020, transforming a shared space in an old fishing dockyard situated in Falmouth, Cornwall into a place where I could learn and develop my pottery skills. For the first year, I was entirely self taught, watching and learning from other potters on Youtube. Since, I have enrolled on a number of ceramic courses and residencies in London, Paris, Montmorillion, and most recently, Tajimi in Japan.
